Born in Coral Gables, Florida, Scott E. Perwin, earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Harvard College; his M.A. from Princeton University, and his J.D., with distinction, from Stanford University where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, the national legal society that recognizes outstanding academic achievement.

Admitted to the bar in Florida; U.S. District Court, Southern and Middle districts of Florida and U.S. Court of Appeals, for the Seventh, Ninth and Eleventh circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court, Mr. Perwin authored "Use of Depositions in Federal Trials: Evidence or Procedure?" Litigation, and co-authored, "Standing of Indirect Purchasers Under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act," Florida Bar Journal.

An adjunct professor, antitrust law, at the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Perwin is a member of the Dade County and American Bar associations- antitrust law and litigation sections; The Florida Bar-Business Law and antitrust sections and unfair trade practices committee; and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is also a founding member of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Law Certification Committee.

He concentrates his practice in the areas of antitrust and trade regulation, complex commercial litigation and appellate practice.
