Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Kevin J. Murray earned his B.A. degree from Rutgers University and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami. At the University of Miami he served as the articles and comments editor of the University of Miami Law Review. He was also a member of the Society of Wig and Robe, the honorary society of the University Miami School of Law for scholarship and service.
Admitted to the bar in Florida; and the U.S. District Court, for the Southern, Middle and Northern districts of Florida; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, Mr. Murray clerked for the Hon. Edward B. Davis, United States District Court Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, Mr. Murray has been a member of the board of editors of the South District Digest, and a bench member of The Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court at St. Thomas University School of Law.
Concentrating his practice in the area of complex commercial litigation, Mr. Murray is a member of the Dade County and Federal Bar associations and The Florida Bar.
